Being rsther than tough of hearing, I mostly longed for the audio alerts for incoming emails, SMS and phone calls (but they gathering my co-workers nuts). To compromise the complaint I set my aged Blackberry 8700c to quiver once for an email, twice for SMS content message, and 3 times and 2 rings for a call. I would squeeze the calls rught away and reply to the emails and SMS as time permitted. Can the iPhone 3GS be set to do the same?

I additionally had a law form for discussion room calls which pale all alerts and cut off the phone’s air wave conductor to equivocate division with the discussion room’s speakerphone system. I could still operate the Calendar, Contacts, Notes, and To-Do functions, and examination before emails. Unfortunately the iPhone 3GS interferes with the discussion room’s speakerphone complement only as bad as the aged 8700c. Can the iPhone 3GS be set to do the same? Know the ‘airplane” mode cuts off the transmitter, though does it stop the alerts as well?

Thanks.
