I have an old 3G iPhone. It no longer finds WiFi hot spots. I’ve also tried to connect to my home network manually, but it still wouldn’t work. I tried all of the simple stuff. I tried the restore. I tried turning the airplane mode on and back off. I’m out of ideas. Anyone have any experience with this?

I have the iPhone 3gs, can make calls, send and recieve texts, and have full signal. But I have no 3g or EDGE symbol by the reception bar. I cant get on the internet other than using wifi, and I cant send or recieve picture messages. Ive tried turning airplane mode on and off, the 3G is turned on, and its got a 3G sim car in it. Help?

I am having problems sending and receiving picture text messages on my fairly new iPhone. One person in particular is using Verizon and sent me a bunch of pictures (which I had received fine on my extremely old cell phone in the past) but I did not receive one picture on this phone. I have also sent pics to a TMobile user and this person never received the picture either.  What’s the deal and how can this be resolved? Is there a fix for this? I tried turning it off and back on but still nothing.
