Upgrade to Iphone 4 but never activate it

Hi, All -

I have an strange iphone that I am happy with. However, I wish to ascent to iphone 4 and give it to my crony as a present. Is it probable toÂ upgrade online,Â get it shipped and when I embrace it, never turn on it? Just keep regulating my aged iphone.

I went throughÂ similarÂ postsÂ on this forum and thereÂ seems to be 2 opinions people have: 1. i can do it and ATTÂ wont do anything as prolonged as i pointer an additional 2 yearÂ contract; 2. if i dont Â activate latest iphone 4 inside of thirty days, ATT will assign me full cost of iphone 4

Did any one try this? I dont thoughts an additional 2 year stipulate though patently dont wish to get billed an additional 400 after I give the phone to my friend.

Ordered a ip4 for my wife.Â Status went to “Attention”.Â I called (on Friday) and they went by a little credit/identification questions and pronounced the sequence was authorized and sent to the room for shipping.Â I haven’t perceived an updated email and when I check the standing around the email they sent, it still says “attention”.Â Does any one have any thought on when standing would shift or should I only call and ask?

Possible MMS glitch?

I was wondering if any one else has beheld this: In the local messaging app, i went to send a pic to a friend. I strike the camera icon, when to Photo Library, and proceeded to select the picture. Upon selecting the picture, the picture changed and half of it dissapeared. I did this again, same Result But however i went by the local print app and sent the pic which approach and it was completly excellent Has any one else beheld this? Its not a large understanding though im only wondering

Are the new iPhones tied to an account before delivery?

All, Â I was wondering if phones sole around the online apple store would be pre-configured for the comment we used during the sequence routine or if they have been configured during the itunes sync. Â The reason im asking is which a crony an I both outlayed a series of hours perplexing to get an sequence placed on the apple store… at the finish of the day I had a single successful sequence and he wasn’t so lucky.Â Â Then i checked my email currently and it appears a single of the unsuccessful sequence essentially went by so I have 2 iphones on order…Â Im anticipating I can only get them both and have my crony reinburse me for the second one,Â though not certain if they have been sealed in to a specific comment prior to shipping.Â Â Â Anyone have any thought on how this works?

I purchased an iPhone 3G in Mar of 2009, and had to put down the deposition of $500. I switched from my iPhone to Blackberry Bold 9700 in Dec of 2009 and was sensitive which on you do so I would have to compensate the ETF which was $175 – $5 for each month, which was 9 months. so i paid $130. I was told by the saleswoman who I went by the switch of skeleton with, which I would be removing my reinstate of $500 behind reduction the $130, and carrying left by the deposition procession beheld which I am right away owing for the lapse of my deposit. I longed for to find out the standing of my deposit. I know which I had canceled prior to the 2 years though I do not consider which should matter, since I didn’t terminate with AT&T, only the iPhone service.

Hi All Â I have had my phone for multiform months now, went by the ascent to get mms and only embrace pictures from a single friend…I can send her pictures though no longer embrace them from her..I checked the settings and zero infirm on my phone…this is really frustrating..we have been both on AT&T was wondering what the means could be Â Thanks

My BF only paid for the Iphone 3GS for himself, the initial a single was a refurb which had to be taken behind & he paid for a latest a single tonight. Now we have the thing home and there is NO SOUND entrance out of it at all. No ringtone, we can’t listen to if someone is articulate to we on it, they can’t listen to you, songs do not play.Â We found the wordless switch on the left side and switched it behind to on, went by the settings and incited all on, did a reset, a sync & zero works. I’m not an iphone user, though it still shouldn’tÂ be this tough to spin the receptive to advice on a phone.Â Does any one know what the complaint is with it?Â I mean, did he severely get 2 crap phones in a row?

My 3GS has been sitting at this indicate for upwards for 4 hours now, I dont know if something went wrong in the activation routine (I went by the itunes routine similar to usual)… Â I’m upgrading from an aged motorolla razr if which matters. Â Not certain what to do here I theory I can call ATT await tommorow if theyre open unless any one knows how to repair this. Â Thanks, Â Ozo
