I just discovered that my son’s new iphone won’t work in the town where he lives – no 3G towers, so all data usage is off net. Â If he connects to a wireless network (non ATT) instead of using 3G, will that data usage go against his off net balance?

There’s something in the “Preferences” folder about connections and you can supposedly connect wirelessly to your computer so that you can set up wireless networking and use the palm centro’s web browser on your computer or something like that. Anybody know anything about this?
